This week:

1. Keyword Results Analyzer Demo

2. F-ree webmaster tools.

3. Last day for Article Miner.

4. A few observations this week

5. Great new tutorial website

6. Other Stuff

Hi again.

Firstly a big thanks to everyone who sent me information on lowering blood pressure in “natural” ways. The response was massive, and I spent several hours replying to everyone who wrote. I did go out and buy a home blood pressure monitor after a few people told me about “white coat syndrome”, and my blood pressure is indeed a lot lower at home than at the doctors office (in fact it is only about 4-7% higher than normal as a daily average). This may indicate a problem with stress related blood pressure, so will be working on meditation as well as diet, exercise, and limiting those lovely things that are so bad for blood pressure (e.g. Caffeine).

OK, enough of that. Let’s get on with today’s newsletter which includes some fr.ee tools, video tutorials (mostly fr.ee), and a demo version of Keyword Results Analyzer. Also, there is a final reminder that Article Miner is being withdrawn from sale TOMORROW, so today is your last chance to get a copy.

1. Keyword Results Analyzer Demo
—————————————————

I have been working hard this week to get version 2 officially released, and almost made it last Friday. The software is ready, its the other stuff like the support website that is not quite ready. It will be ready on Monday, so I will be sending out update information to all KRA owners on Monday. On Tuesday, I will be officially releasing the software, with a price increase to $97. This is happening some time on Tuesday 2nd May, so if you want to get KRA at the old price, you have only got a couple of days. All v1 owners get the upgrade to v2 for fr.ee.

You can check out the new website setup for Keyword Results Analyzer, and download a demo version (or just read the manual) to see if it is something that would be useful to you.

2. F-ree webmaster tools.
—————————————————

SEO WSB users (thanks!) have posted a couple of useful tools on the SEO WSB user forum, so I thought I would mention them here. These tools are totally f-ree, and can help you with your colour co-ordination on your websites.

I’ll let you visit the webpages to see what they do, but if you ever had problems putting together a web-safe colour scheme for your websites, these tools are pure gold.

3. Last day for Article Miner.
—————————————————

Last week I told you about a new tool I have been playing with. You can check out that tool here.

This tool is being pulled from the market TOMORROW, so if you are interested in it, today is your last day. I have had a few emails from those who bought it after my recommendation, and I was happy to see that these users were as excited as I was at the potential of this tool.

This tool is not cheap, but it is well worth the money in my opinion. It makes adding content to your sites very easy, whether that is content you have written, had written for you, or the 300,000+ articles in the database that comes with the software (and is updated every month).

Here are some of the features of this tool:

* Add content to existing sites, or create an entire site within the software.

* This tool can also find 100% related articles that can be used in autoresponder courses, fr.ee viral reports that you can give away, and lots of other applications only limited by your imagination. These are some of the things we talked about in the miniseries being run in this newsletter, and you should all be doing on your sites. e.g I searched for “blood pressure” in titles of articles, and Article Miner turned up 123 articles. If I wanted to setup an autoresponder course on a blood pressure site, my content is already written!

* Dynamic growth of a website. Set up this tool to automatically add content to your site over time. How cool is it knowing that your site is updated, even if you are sleeping.

* Articles can be searched for by keywords in body or title, or both body and title.

* See at a glance what the keyword density of your chosen phrase is. Keyword density can be a useful measure to ensure you get targeted Adsense ads on your pages.

* This tool is a desktop tool you own, not a web based or subscription product. The database is stored on your computer, making it faster. However, the downside of this is the 850+ MB download.

* Create a website, or add content to an existing site, in minutes.

* Template system allows you to make changes and see immediately the effect of those changes.

* Highly customisable using the tag system built into it.

* Easily tweak Adsense ads to add pictures (a trick that increases adsense clickthrough rates).

* Automatically creates sitemaps for your newly added content (including the XML sitemap for Google).

* A rotator script allows snippets of article content to be rotated on your pages so that your pages are constantly changing. Search engines love that. Check out this site built entirely with the tool, and press the refresh button on your browser. See the changing “Recently Added Articles” section? Very cool.

* Create RSS feeds for your sites.

* Software comes with some templates that you can use as they are, or modify to your personal taste.

* Perhaps my favourite feature of all is that I can import my own content (I often get article written by ghost writers for my affiliate sites), and have this tool automatically post them on my sites over time. That means that even if I don’t want to use the 300,000 built in articles, this tool is a great time-saver.

All in all, this tool is one of the very best I have used in several years online. I am yet to be convinced about the profitability of using article directory content on my sites (hence the experiment I am setting up), but this tool has so many uses in the every day tasks of building affiliate sites, that I give it my highest recommendation.

If you can afford this tool, I recommend you get it before it is removed from sale. The time saving features, plus huge resources available for almost any niche, make this one of my all time favourite tools.

4. A few observations from my sites
—————————————————

1. Do article submissions still work? That is something I have been asked twice this week. Not sure why, but my answer is “of course”.

As an example, I submitted an article entitled:

“When Will Duplicate Content Cause You Problems?”

to some directories on 19th April. You can check out the results in the big three search engines for yourself. Just search with the title in quotes (as shown above).

While not all of these pages have reprinted my entire article (and therefore no backlinks), my article has been picked up by a number of webmasters and posted on their sites (with backlinks included).

Time will tell how this affects rankings of specific pages, and the site as a whole, but I can tell you that I continue to get good results with article submission for all of my sites, and highly recommend you use this strategy.

2. My new ezseonews.com site has now been live since 3rd March 2006. In the last week or two, Google awarded it a PR of 3. Whether this PR is due to the 301 redirect from the old site, or from directory submissions, article submissions, or a mixture of all three, I don’t know. What I can tell you though is that traffic is back up to the same level as my old site.

I have not got all my rankings back yet, and it is taking longer to get new pages indexed at Google. However, MSN is picking up new pages very quickly. My latest new page is a review of the Reese Report, and it is sitting at #5 on MSN for “Reese report review” (without quotes).

Yahoo is typically dragging its feet over my new site with just 15 pages indexed. However, that is still better than the 2 pages (at most) it ever indexed on my old site.

There certainly does not seem to be any sandbox at Google with this new site, so the 301 redirect to a new domain seems a safe and secure way of moving a site to a new domain while retaining rankings (though not all rankings).

5. Great new tutorial website
—————————————————

Guido W. Stiehle has setup a new website with video tutorials (many of them are fr.ee) for some common webmaster tasks like blogging and RSS, as well as an HTML tutorial for those wishing to learn HTML.

I highly recommend Guido’s stuff.

Here are the links to some of his tutorials:

HTML Tutorial - “Learn HTML in one day or less. Comprehensive video tutorial teaches you everything you need to know to build and publish great websites with ease. Free software tools and 300+ templates included”.

Carp Beginner Tutorial - “Learn how to keep your website automatically updated with fresh content by syndicating RSS newsfeeds on your webpages with the help of the superior free RSS parser CaRP. ”

Advanced Carp Tutorial - “Unleash the full power of CaRP Caching RSS parser and discover some advanced and profitable ways to add automatically updating and relevant content to your webpages.” Add XML feed products (e.g. Amazon) to your site using Carp, plus much more. This is a fantastic tutorial.

Free Blogging with Wordpress - “Beat the learning curve and start a WordPress blog the easy way. F-ree video tutorial guides you step-by-step through the installation and configuration of your blog, shows you how to post articles, customize your blogs layout and get your website indexed fast in the major search engines.”

6. Other Stuff
—————————————————

Niche Blueprints for April were released this week.

Niche Blueprint #1 is related to hair. According to Adsense Dominator (http://ezseonews.com/adsensedom), some keywords in this niche cost over $13 a click. At Commission Junction, this blueprint topic has merchants with 3 month EPC in the $20 - $40 range. That means for every 100 clicks the average affiliate sends the merchant, the affiliate makes $20 - $40. If you think that is good, look at the second niche. The niche has around 4000 keywords, with 500 keywords less than 1000 competing pages, and 5 or more daily searches at Google. These 500 keywords represent over 4500 daily searches at Google alone. In fact, over 140 keywords have 5 or more daily searches and less than 100 competing pages. These keywords represent over 1000 daily searches.

Niche Blueprint #2 is about a cleaning product that every home has. They also cost quite a bit. According to Adsense Dominator (http://ezseonews.com/adsensedom), some keywords in this niche cost over $15 a click. At Commission junction, there are a couple of merchants with 3 month EPC of $67 and $89 respectively. These figures represent hot items, with great affiliate opportunities. The niche has over 2700 keywords with 341 having 5 or more daily searches and less than 1000 competing pages (3343 daily searches at Google for these phrases). 79 keywords have 5 or more daily searches and less than 100 competing pages (652 daily Google searches).

As always, you can get the blueprints from the Niche Blueprint Site.
