Hi again
This week, you may have been inundated with people offering you Adrian Ling’s scripts. If you have bought them already, rest assured that it was m0ney well spent. I’ll tell you my thoughts on this package today. We also continue with the Wordpress tutorial, and more. Let’s get on with it..

1. Adrian Ling’s Summer Special
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Adrian Ling is a good friend of mine. He is also an excellent programmer with a fine suite of tools that top marketers have been using for years. He has decided to bundle a bunch of his tools together and sell them as a “Summer Special” for just $49.97. However, be warned, this sale finishes TOMORROW OR when 300 Copies sold - whichever comes first! Currently there are 132 copies left.
Let me tell you which tools are included.
When I started to sell my own products online, I chose Clickbank because it was easy. The biggest problem I had was that when my second product was released, Clickbank could not really handle the two products very well. You see, the affiliate links used by my affiliates would all go to the same page no matter what product they were trying to promote. Adrian Ling had the solution for me. It was called EasyClickMate.
This tool allowed me to setup multiple products at Clickbank, and give my affiliates the tools they needed to promote multiple products. It gave them one link for one product. If you are a Clickbank vendor, that will make sense.
However, easy Click Mate does more than that. You see, it allowed me to use MY DOMAIN in the affiliate links that pointed to my products. EasyClickMate does this, and more (including managing your affiliates).
Easy Click Mate currently sells for $67. That’s $17 MORE than the entire summer package that Adrian is “giving” away.
Also in this package is Adrian’s Easy Click 404. This tool currently sells for $47 (about the same as the entire summer package will cost you).
When someone visits your site, but a 404 error is returned (I checked my own sites and this happens up to 10% of the time), EasyClick404 does 2 things:
1. It will send you an email telling you of the problem, and the URL that triggered it. This can help you eliminate 404 errors on your site quickly and effectively.
2. It will try to guess the correct page and direct your visitor there. If no alternative is found, it will redirect your visitor to a page of your choice.
Another tool in the summer special is Adrian’s Easy Click Guard. This is a fraud prevention tool that can protect your products from thieves. You can read more about this on the Summer Sale page.
These three tools are bundled together into a $49.97 that really is fantastic value for money, however, it gets better. Adrian has told me that he has thrown in the “kitchen sink” as well. These are unadvertised bonuses, and they are not some lame excuse for software. They are products he currently sells at full price. These are:
1) Affiliate Shield (sells for $47) and is delivered 30 days after your purchase.
This tool is a marketers dream. It will monitor ALL of your affiliate links in real time. If it detects that the vendor’s site is down OR if the vendor has switched to another payment processor, it will:
* Automatically alert you via email
* Automatically switch over to your backup link
The backup link can be a similar product on another website. This means that when your vendor’s site is down, your link will still work, but send traffic to an alternative product. You don’t look bad, and you still make money. How great is that?
As Adrian says on his website:
“Why not let AffiliateShieldTM monitor ALL the sites for you? Automatically, in real-time - 24×7. No Fuss, No mess. No commission leaks!”
I haven’t even mentioned the fact that this script will cloak your affiliate links too. This is a fabulous script.
2) Power RSS (sells for $97) and is delivered 61 days after your purchase. I haven’t used this one myself, so I’ll leave it up to you to go and check the sales page for yourself.
The tool sells for $97, but you get it as part of the Summer Special, with all of the other software above, all for just $49.97.
To take advantage of this offer, here is the link:
Remember, you won’t see anything on that page about the last two bonuses. They are suppose to be a “surprise”.

2. Wordpress Tutorial - IV
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
If you have missed any of the Wordpress Tutorials, you can view them at Affiliate Minder.
When you get there, click the link on the right to “Wordpress Tutorials”.
Last week we looked at my Top 10 Wordpress Plugins, and you should have them uploaded to your plugins folder as described in the last tutorial.
Today I am going to go over activating the plugins, and also updating plugins. By the end of today’s tutorial, you will have all plugins activated, and updated to the latest versions if necessary.
You will then be let loose on your Wordpress Admin Centre to play and explore. Before I send you to today’s tutorial, here is a little tip.
Wordpress Plugin Tip:
If you are planning multiple sites, download your frequently used plugins and unzip them to a folder on your hard disk called “plugins”. When you unzip them, make sure you unzip them by “keeping folder information” during the unzip process, so that folder structure in the zip file is maintained. Then, when you start a new site, simple upload the contents of your plugin folder to the plugin folder on your server, and you are ready to activate all plugins (and update them).
OK, here is the tutorial on activating and updating Wordpress plugins.

3. Wordpress For Affiliate Sites Community
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Last week I wrote to tell you about a planned community I am setting up. The idea is that I am going to be building an affiliate site using Wordpress as my site builder. It will compliment what is included in the newsletter series (adding more details, more videos, etc), and will show a real site being built from start to finish. If you are interested in joining this community, you can read more about it here:
When you get there, just click the link in the top left menu to “Wordpress for Affiliate Sites Community”.

4. The Easiest Way to Have Your Own Products
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
It’s no secret that a large number of Marketers make very good livings online. A lot of them have their own product or several products. One of the easiest ways to have your own products is to buy one called a PLR product. PLR stands for Private Label Rights, which means, when you buy it, you can sell it as your own.
One of the original and still the best PLR sites is Nicheology. I have been a member ever since the doors opened, and I am not the only one who has never cancelled membership to this site.
Not only do you get the PLR products every month, but you also get tailor-made training from big names like Jim Edwards, Jimmy D.Brown, Ryan Deiss and Paul Evans.
This site has a lot to offer the budding product owner.
Now the bad news.
On the 15th July (that’s this Tuesday), they are raising their prices to $37 per month. There is also a joining fee of $97.
If anyone is interested in joining this site, I can get you in WITHOUT the joining fee AND at the current level of subscription. Once in, you lock in your price so will never have to pay the new increased fees.
Now, before you all go rushing to sign up, let me tell you that this is not for everyone. Creating a profitable Infoproduct Empire takes time and hard work. If you are not prepared to work hard, then save your money. Each product you get needs to be customised to make it your own. They are called products “in the rough”. Don’t get me wrong, they are not incomplete. They just need you to add a few graphics maybe and the odd affiliate link, etc. You can really go to town if you want, and add new sections as well.
For those who need more details on Nicheology, I suggest you go over to the site and read what you get included in your membership.

5. Stalking Matt Cutts
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
If you want to do well in Google, doesn’t it make sense to ask someone who works for Google, and in particular, someone who has insider knowledge of how things work at Google?
Matt Cutts is just such a person. He is a Google engineer, and I like to think of him as the SEO face of Google. He knows what Google wants, and comes out on the Internet to tell it like it is.
I remember a couple of years ago, Colin McDougall had the very same idea. He went to a conference where he knew Matt would be speaking, and made every effort to meet him. He finally did, and ended up chatting with the Google engineer. Colin’s VEO Report was the product of the productive talks he had with Matt.
Now, I don’t recommend you physically stalk Matt Cutts like Colin McDougall did ;O)
A much easier method would be to “cyber-stalk” him. Go to the places online where Matt Cutts can be found, and read everything, watch every video and make notes.
Here are a couple of places I go:
1. Youtube - If you search for Matt Cutts, you’ll find a lot of videos of him, offering fr.ee advice on better rankings.
2. Matt Cutts Blog - Here Matt discusses a lot of things, not all related to the search engine. There is a category called “Google/SEO” on the right though, and clicking that will show you all the posts in that section.
Finally, you can search Google for “Matt Cutts” to find a lot more. If you want advice on a particular issue e.g. link building, why not search Google for:
“matt cutts” + link building
NOTE: Put Matt Cutts in quotes when doing this sort of search.
For a quick introduction to SEO, here is an “interview” with Matt in June 2008 (USA Today).
