3. Wordpress 2.7 Preview
4. Michael Green’s 30 Day Challenge - I’ve seen it!
Hi again
A couple of weeks ago I told you about my plans to start a new "career" in video and editing. In reality, it will just be another part of my existing business, but it is important to me because it means that a hobby will start to make me m0ney, rather than just be a hobby. Well, I had a little accident with my new video camera. My tripod leg collapsed, and my new video camera went crashing to the floor, breaking the LCD viewer. Now, the camera can still be used with the viewfinder, but I need to get the LCD fixed for a lot of the stuff I want to shoot.
OK, no problem, I’ll send it back to Canon to get it repaired. After much phoning around, we found that Canon Espana is based in Madrid or Barcelona. We contacted a courier to ask about the price. Well, this is where the problems started. To send the camera was around 120 Euros. However, they said that it would have to go through Spanish customs and they would charge 16% of the value of the camera (since we were "importing the camera into mainland Spain") I guess the Canary Islands are only part of Spain when it suits Spain. The camera was over 3000 euros, so that means just to send it via courier would cost 600 Euros, and that is just so Canon can give us a quote for the repair. Pure madness. It would be cheaper to get a flight to Madrid and take it personally. In fact, when we wanted to buy the camera, that is exactly what we did. A friend was going to Madrid, so we got him to pick it up for us (thanks Luis).
OK, we have lots to cover today, so let’s get on..

1. Michael Campbell’s gone mad!
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
A couple of weeks ago I told you about some high quality podcasts that Michael Campbell was producing in collaboration with some top Internet Marketers & Super Affiliates.
Michael Campbell has gone mad and is now almost giving them away.
Michael Campbell’s Podcast Madness
The first set of podcasts was on "Affiliate Marketing Principles & Strategies" and included three and a half hours of interviews with Dave Tropeano, Jerry West, Ginette Degner, Christian Weselak, Colin McDougall & Dr. Neil Shearing.
If you bought the first set of podcasts, contact Michael as he has a nice surprise for you.
These podcasts sold for up to $97 two weeks ago, but today, you can get them for under $16 (no, that is not a misprint).
These experts answer questions like:
How much can one expect to earn with affiliate marketing, the best way to start, favourite products to market, how to know if a market is profitable, opt-ins and autoresponders, social media and so much more.
Learn from real super affiliates who make 6+ figures a year.
These podcasts are entertaining as well as great value.
You can download them to your computer and listen to them on your iPod, iPhone or other multimedia player. Pick up the latest tips and tricks from the real experts (and I would do it quickly before Michael starts taking his "sensible medication" again and realises his pricing mistake).

2. Wordpress Tutorial - XVII
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Last week we looked at some of the problems you may come across while using the Wordpress Dashboard and how to fix a lot of those problems.
In the tutorial today, I wanted to talk about pages and posts, and the main differences between them.
You can view all tutorials on the Affiliate Minder website.
When you get there, click the link on the right to "Wordpress Tutorials".

3. Wordpress 2.7 Preview
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
I have joined the list of Wordpress beta testers for version 2.7, so thought I would give you a few ideas of what is installed for this new release (which I hope is with us soon).
Firstly, the update from my previous version went without any hitches. I edited the wp-config.php file to include my database info, and then just uploaded the files. When the upload was finished, I went to login and was told the database needed updating. A click of a button achieved that, and I was into the new Wordpress Dashboard.
From here on in, I need to show you some screenshots, so you’ll need to go and read the entire article on my affiliate minder site. Go to:
Once there, click the link to the Wordpress tutorials section, and you’ll find the "Wordpress 2.7 Preview" article. It gives you a quick look at the new interface, and a few of the new features.

4. Michael Green’s 30 Day Challenge - I’ve seen it!
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
I first heard of Michael Green because of his forum which has been a leading light in Internet Marketing for several years (although it has moved around a bit if I remember). You can view his forum here:
In September last year, Michael released a product that promised to make you $20k in 20 days. It was called the 20/20 challenge, and I think it was a very high class product, offering hard-workers the chance to make some serious m0ney.
His latest offering is the 30/30 challenge, or what he calls the "Money Tree", and in many ways its a natural evolution from the 20/20 challenge. Michael has listened to the 20/20 customers, and created a new product that is even better.
Michael Green is guaranteeing that his course will allow you to make $30k in 30 days, or he will give you your money back (and you’ll get to keep a whole stack of "products" that the course gives you). How is that for a no-brainer?
This has to be one of the most eagerly awaited releases this year, and I have had a sneak preview. So what is this all about, and can you really make $30k in 30 days?
Well, the sales page says it all really. The Money Tree includes:
* 101 Products that you will own and can sell.
* Easy Step-By-Step 30 day program.
* Outcome guaranteed, or your money back (and you get to keep all 101 products).
Before I tell you some of my thoughts on the product, and the manual in particular, let me just highlight a few of the points on his sales page. Michael Says:
"No email marketing ‘list’ required. I’ve designed this amazing toolkit for people who are quite literally starting from barren ground, meaning that you do not need to be the up front owner of any marketing list whatsoever!"
"It’s 100% complete. I know how frustrating it is to grab a product, only to discover that stuff is missing. That’s why I’ve included everything you’ll need inside the Money Tree Challenge with the exception of any domain names, webserver space and freelance help that you may want to buy in."
I should add here that while the course is a 30 day course, you can take it at your own pace if you prefer. The idea behind the course is that you’ll receive 101 products that you can setup and sell as your own. You can see some examples of the types of products you’ll receive over on the sales page. I suggest you go over to the sales page now and read it. It will answer your immediate questions. When you get back, I’ll tell you what I think:
The manual covers the steps needed to get these products up and selling. It starts off by discussing the schedule of the course, and how you can fit it into your own lives. Of course, those who are experienced marketers will be able to complete a lot of the tasks much more quickly than complete beginners, but in reality, it doesn’t matter it you take 1 day, 2 days or a week to complete each of the 30 day tasks. Do things properly, and do them in your own time.
In the first few days of the course, you’ll be reading the manual and familiarising yourself with the 101 products you received. The idea is to find a small number of the products that you can use to generate considerable inc0me.
The course really does cover every step you need to set up these products for sale. Keyword and market research, setting up a payment processor so customers can pay you, working with the products you have, rebranding, writing sales letters, marketing and promoting etc etc.
The manual is huge and you’ll definitely want to print it off and get it bound. This is a very high quality course, and one that I think will help hundreds of people set up online businesses. The methods Michael teaches you are tried and true, and they do work. However, the big question is can you really make $30k in 30 days?
Well, those kinds of figures blow your mind, and I would have to think it will be a minority of people taking this course who will achieve that (or close to that). I also expect that this course is so big that many who buy it will never complete it.
However, the truth is that the methods you are being taught really do work (I know personally, because I use many of the same methods in my own business).
If you follow the course to the letter I cannot see how you would fail to make back many times your investment, but if you do, or you decide it is not for you, Michael is there to give you a refund.
If you are undecided, or have questions, scroll to the bottom of the sales page and you’ll find a link to the Frequently Asked Questions page.
