Spammer already

November 27, 2004 by

Well this blog may be new, but it must be visible because I have been innundated with idiot spammers trying to add comments to my blog, with nothing more than links to their casino sites. Lucky I selected to review all comments before they are published.

I highly recommend that if you start a blog, you make comments require authorisation too or you will quickly find that your blog becomes a spammers paradise.

After all, legitimate comments will still get through.

Hi Andy. It’s Joseph from the SEO WSB forum. Somehow I found my way to your blog!? If you’re looking for some layout how-to or WP CSS layouts checkout this site.

I got spam at my first blog the other day. Same stuff as you — all casino/poker related. I have to approve all posts too. There are some spammer hacks posted over at the WP site. I set up a special email addy for posts to come to. The silver lining is; the spams gave me a lot of nice keywords!
    Keep on blogging!
