about ie8
the note on the software screen says, if u see error message on the editor, uninstall ie 9 and revert back ie8, but mine is windows 7, the ie 8 is not compatible.

As far as I know, Windows 7 is compatible with IE8. In fact Windows 7 originally shipped with IE8.
