This week:
1. CSS Mini-series Part VIII.
2. The Jungle Marketers returns to the Jungle.
3. Phoenix rises from ashes of Overture keyword tool.
4. Nichebot 2 – first impressions
5. Other Stuff.
Hi again.
Its been a difficult week for me to concentrate on work. I am a huge Liverpool Football fan (soccer to my friends across the pond), and the club has been going through changes recently, with a much publicised takeover by Dubai International Capital falling through on Wednesday. The emotional roller-coaster didn’t stop there. It appear that the reason it fell through was another investor returning with an improved bid. While supporters in the UK know very little about these new suitors, I am sure most sports fans in America/Canada will know Tom Hicks (owner of the Dallas Stars and the Texas Rangers) and George Gillette (Montreal Canadiens). We should find out more this week when the two come to the UK to apparently submit their bid. I can forsee another tough week of work :0)
OK, let’s get on.

1. CSS Mini-series Part VIII
—————————————————
This part of the course is now available as part of the CSS Tutorial PDF eBook.

2. The Jungle Marketers returns to the Jungle.
—————————————————
Guido Stiehle from TheJungleMarketer.com has made his name online by being honest, and looking after his customers. He has produced a number of fr.ee tutorials, and those he does charge for are amazingly che.ap.
Guido is certainly a model professional that we should all learn lessons from.
Guido announced this week that he and his family are preparing to move back to his native jungle village in Brazil. I sincerely hope that he will continue teaching and helping others online.
As part of that move, Guido is freeing up some of his responsibilities by offering resale rights to one of his products (I have just bought one of the 15 licences available, and I know he only had a few left before I made my purchase). What’s different about this resell sale is the very limited numbers of licenses (only 15), and the combined low price.
The product itself is excellent (he sent me a copy when it was first released). Rather than give you details of the product here, and what you can and cannot do with it if you buy it, I’ll just refer you to his site:

I am sure that many of you will want to join me in wishing Guido the very best in his future endeavours.

3. Phoenix rises from ashes of Overture keyword tool.
—————————————————
At the end of last week, I got some emails from various keyword research tool authors saying that Overture’s Suggestions tool was down, and that their software was unable to use Overture for collecting keywords. They expected full service to resume soon, and apologised for the inconvenience.
At the beginning of this week, news broke that Overture Keyword Suggestion tool was not going to be fixed – it has been killed off. You can read more here.
Widespread panic followed by those who had grown use to the tool. I have never really been a fan of it, and don’t use keyword tools that took data from it, so I have been largely unaffected by this. However, for those who did use it, you can sleep easy, as a new fr.ee keyword tool has been made available by our friends at Wordtracker. You can try it out for yourself here.

4. Nichebot 2 – first impressions
—————————————————
As you all know by now, I am a big fan of Wordtracker, and use it almost exclusively for my own Keyword Research. However, this week I have started playing around with Nichebot 2, and so far, have been very pleasantly surprised by it. It does have a few quirks, but nothing I cant work with. I had hoped to have a video for you today, showing you how easy Nichebot is for keyword research, but ran out of time. Maybe I’ll have that ready by next week.
I highly recommend you go and have a look at Nichebot 2 yourself.
You can start using it for as little as $1 on a 14-day trial, and if you own KRA, you’ll be pleased to know that KRA v3 (which is available on the customer site) is 100% compatible with Nichebot data format.
Watch video #5 on this page to see how easy it is to import Nichebot data into KRA.
While we are on this topic, you might also be interested in Nichebots wordtrends feature. Here is a video showing you what that is all about.

** SEO Website Builder News **
I have been working hard on version 2 of SEO Website Builder, and with the software just about finished, I have now also completed the first draft of the training manuals. While I continue to test the new version, I am building a couple of test sites. You’ll be happy to know I am recording the action as I go using Camtasia Studio, so you’ll have a complete site building video tutorial by the end of it.
I anticipate finishing the videos this week, and when they are ready, I’ll be releasing the v2 beta to all v1 owners. This should be in the next couple of weeks.
** Niche Blueprint News **
There are still copies of the January Niche Blueprint available.
This Niche Blueprint was written around a small niche within the larger “baby” niche. The blueprint was primarily written as an affiliate site opportunity, but this could also be an opportunity for an Adsense site, with one phrase costing an estimated $19+ per click (as reported by Google’s own keyword tool), and another similar term estimated at over $15 per click. In fact you could easily build an entire mini-site around these two phrases (its a type of product), as many of the phrases in this niche are related to it.
There are also another 129 phrases with estimated CPC’s of between $1 – $5.
OK, so what about the keywords?
The Niche has 1677 keywords, with:
183 phrases have less than 1000 competing pages with 5 or more daily searches at Google alone (1625 daily searches on these 183 phrases).
97 phrases have 5 or more daily searches and less than 100 competing pages (739 daily searches at Google for these 97 phrases).
62 phrases have 5 or more daily searches with 10 or less competing pages (448 daily searches at Google for these 62 phrases).
15 phrases have 5 or more daily searches an ZERO competing pages in Google (104 daily searches at Google for these 15 phrases).
This is a great niche blueprint for beginners or advanced marketers. If you are interested, you can get it at:
