Hi again
There’s a lot to cover today, so let’s get on.

1. $30k in 30 days
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
In September last year, Michael Green released a product that promised to make you $20k in 20 days. It was called the 20/20 challenge, and I think it was an outstanding product. Michael’s guarantee was simple. Make $20k in 20 days or get your money back. It was one of those products that really was a no-brainer. You just didn’t have to think about it. The guarantee meant you took no risk, and the step-by-step guide took you through every stage of his system.
So, how many people made $20k in 20 days?
To be honest, I doubt that most people who bought it made any money at all. That’s not a criticism of the course, but the nature of people. Probably 99% of people who bought it did not complete the course. Perhaps even 10 – 20% of people who bought it never even read the course from start to finish.
Internet Marketing is all about working for yourself, and that is something a lot of people seem incapable of doing. Most people are intrinsically lazy, and given the choice of working or sitting in front of the TV (or sleeping, playing with kids, going for a walk etc etc), I think for many people THAT CHOICE is a no-brainer.
One of my all-time favourite lines in a movie was from Stan Laurel. He said "You know what they say Ollie, you can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead".. OK, I think you know where I am going with this.
So why am I mentioning the 120/20 challenge? Well, Michael has come out with a new product. In fact, its not actually ready to buy, but you can lock in at a lower price by pre-ordering.
So why should you be interested in this offer?
Well, for starters, Michael is offering to show you how to make $30k in 30 days. It’s kind of the big brother of the 20/20 challenge. After having reviewed the early drafts of the product, This "30/30 challenge" is kind of an evolution from 20/20.
The guarantee has evolved too. Michael calls it his 200% money back guarantee. Not only will he give you your money back, but he’ll also let you keep every one of the 101 Products that come bundled with the product.
So what is this product all about. Let me explain it to you.
The product is called The Money Tree. It comes bundled with 101 products which are high quality digital downloadable programs, scripts, tools and ebooks some of which are worth more than the current price for the entire Money Tree Challenge system.
One of the differences between this product and the 20/20 challenge is that the Money Tree manual covers newer techniques than the 20/20 challenge, eg. Web 2.0 and in particular marketing through social networking.
Michael has also listened to feedback from the 20/20 users and included better sections on how to more effectively build up an email list and find Joint Venture Partners without doing all the hard work yourself.
The course is written with all levels of experience in mind, from beginners to advanced marketers, although newbies may require a little more time on each section than seasoned marketers. In order to take part in the Money Tree Challenge you do not need to own a website, domain name or anything else up front. You will however have created at least one by the time you’ve completed your Challenge though, so factor is a small cost for hosting and a domain.
Michael usually sets up a series of bonuses for those who pre-order his products so check out his sales page for full details, and the latest 0ffer:

2. Clickbank Analytics
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
This week, someone on my WordPress For Affiliate Sites forum mentioned Clickbank Analytics. I actually had never heard of it, but its a great fr.ee site that can give you all sorts of information about a Clickbank product.
You can find it here:
Across the top, you have a menu that gives you access to:
1. Categories – This allows you to find products by category.
2. Top Products – This lists products by gravity, with highest first. Gravity is a measure of how many affiliates have made sales for a product. WARNING: In the Internet Marketing niches, a high gravity may simply mean that a lot of people buy through their own links, as Internet Marketers know how to manipulate the commission system at Clickbank. In non-Internet Marketing niches, a high gravity usually means that a lot of affiliates are having success selling the product.
3. New Products – Find out what has recently been added to Clickbank’s Marketplace.
4. News – Tells you a little more about the site, and how to personalise it so that it returns YOUR affiliate links for the products.
Searching via the Categories or Top Products pages gives you a list of products.
This list has some data with each listing – $ earned per sale, gravity & gravity change (which is quite useful as you can find "rising stars" amongst the product lists). Clicking on the products will take you to a more detailed view of the product.
Overall, I think the site is a good one for anyone looking to promote Clickbank products. It certinly helps you see trends for the products you are considering as graphs are provides for several parameters.

3. WordPress Tutorial – XIII
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Last week we looked at adding widgets to widget-enabled WordPress templates.
This week I want to show you how easy it is to add video into your blog posts.
You can view this tutorial on the Affiliate Minder website, as well as any tutorials you may have missed.
When you get there, click the link on the right to "Wordpress Tutorials".

4. Social Media Warning – part II
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Last week I pointed you in the direction of a great article by Lynn Terry that warned against abuse of Social Media sites in your website promotion, and suggested a set of rules for using social media sites responisbly.
Following on from that, I thought you might be interested in this article by Charles Heflin. It talks about the dangers of over-reliance on social media sites, and gives a very good example.
This is actually one of a series of articles by Charles, and they are all well worth reading. Links at the end of his article to the other parts in the series.

5. How many top 10 sites have Google Sitemaps?
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Last week, I took a look at the average age of the sites in the top 10 of Google for three search terms:
RGP contact lens, bbq plans & heart rate monitor.
This week I wanted to look at another factor, so decided to look at how many of the top 10 pages for these terms actually have a sitemap.xml file.
There has been a lot of talk in the past with some people stating that you need an XML sitemap to do well in Google – these people are often selling you a solution ;o). I personally have always thought that was rubbish. The only important thing is whether or not search engine spiders can find all of your pages. For that, an HTML sitemap is just as good.
Google sitemaps have always been a little worrying for me, as you have to tell Google how important your pages are, and roughly how often they are updated. What will Google think if you say the page is to be updated once a week, and then it isn’t updated for months? Is that just me being paranoid?
OK, for this analysis, I have used the Firefox plugin called SEO Quake, so am relying on that toolbar for the accuracy of these results, and here they are:
The number of top 10 pages with a sitemap.xml file:
RGP contact lens: 0 / 10
bbq plans: 0 / 10
heart rate monitor: 4 / 10
Not many are there? Let’s look at a couple of other keyword phrases:
credit cards: 5 / 10
student loans: 4 / 10
grey’s anatomy: 2 / 10
angelina jolie: 1 / 10
I’ll let you draw your own conclusions from these results.

6. Dominating the top 10 Google Results
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
Go and search Google for KRA Pro. That’s one of my tools, and the top 10 (heck, even the top 20) results are littered with videos and social media sites showing my videos.
So how am I dominating the top 10 for the name of my products?
Not only am I going to tell you now, but I have also arranged a fr.ee 30 day trial of the service I used to do it.
Several months ago, I started using a service called Traffic Geyser. I know the name is a bit hypey, but I have now been a Traffic Geyser user for almost a year now, so it’s got to be good. If you have a website that you need to promote, Traffic Geyser is certainly a big help.
Before I go on to tell you what this service does, let me just tell your that I have managed to get you a fr.ee trial if you want to try it. That’s right, you can try Traffic Geyser for 30 days at no cost.
So, why do I like Traffic Geyser?
The main reason I joined was for the video distribution potential. Not only does TG distrubute videos for you, but it also helps you make them without a video camera or specialist software – they have a tool built in that let’s you create videos!
To help newbies, they have an easy to follow, step-by-step "Fast Start Video Training" so you can create your first video today!!
I personally use Camtasia Studio for my own videos, but for those who don’t have the budget for that, the tools provided by Traffic Geyser are more than enough to create and benefit from videos.
Once a video is created, you can upload it once, and Traffic Geyser will then distribute it to a huge number of sites.
There is even greater scope for distribution with Traffic Geyser’s new podcasting feature. These podcasts can be easily created by Traffic Geyser from your videos, as it will strip out your audio.
I have just checked by Traffic Geyser account, and it currently submits your videos / podcasts (podcasts are iTunes compatible) to 25 video sites, 14 podcast sites, blog.com and worpdress.com blog sites (blog articles are created from your video titles and descriptions) and 8 social bookmarking sites.
One of the things I like is the way Traffic Geyser works with templates. You can submit one video and save the submission form as a template so it can be used/modified for your next submission. This feature saves a load of time.
Overall, Traffic Geyser has proved itself a worthwhile investment in my own business strategy.
The fr.ee trial sales page is not the same as the original sales page. You can read the original sales page and watch a video of how Frank Kern achieved a number 3 Google listing in 10 minutes using Traffic Geyser. You can watch that here (though DO NOT ORDER TG on this page).
If you are interested in the fre.e. trial of Traffic Geyser, you can sign up for that here:

Re: 5. How many top 10 sites have Google Sitemaps?
The Google SiteMap file name / path can be any name you wish. it doesn’t have to be sitemap.xml .
So it’s not really a valid test..
HOWEVER…
i totally agree with you, i don’t use them myself.
i only authenticate the site with googles webmasters tools & never bother with the sitemap at all.
never had a problem to date and i have the sites in the some very competitive markets.
Cheers
Brendon
Hi Brendon
Yes, I am aware that the sitemap could be called something else. I have no idea how the SEO Quake plugin finds out if there is a sitemap, so that is why I mentioned the plugin I was using. I appreciate you mentioning this though, and confirming that you have not had any issues ignoring the masses trying to push Google sitemaps on webmasters.
Re: Dominating the top 10 Google Results
Andy, seems the link to Traffic Geyser free trial (http://ezseonews.com/tgtrial) isn’t working – getting a 404 Not Found error).
I checked out the main sales page and watched the video of Frank Kern using it. Impressive results.
Thanks,
Mickey

Try again. It seems the original page I was told to send you to is down, so I have changed the redirect to one that is currently up.
