Hi again

I am sending this newsletter a couple of days early because the 0ffer from Jim Morris (Nichebot guy) runs out on the 29th (Monday), and I wanted to give you enough warning.  Don’t you hate having to make those last minute decisions?

Let’s get on..

1. Nichebot Back To School Special 0ffer
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

With the current competition problems at Wordtracker (as reported in previous newsletters), I have been using Nichebot more and more for my own keyword research.

I’ve been so impressed by it, that I hope to start a series of videos tutorials on using Nichebot very soon (so do let me know if that is something that interests you).

At the beginning of the week, Jim Morris (Founder of Nichebot) emailed me with a special deal for my subscribers.

Jim has put together a "Back to School" 2 for 1 special 0ffer.

I’ll leave Jim to explain how it works:

"1.  Monthly 2 for 1 Account

Get 2 months for the price of 1…

After your account has billed in full for the SECOND month, submit a support ticket to NicheBOT Member Support and let them know about your special secret code:

special code:   doubeitup

Let support know that you signed up during the September 22-29 "Back to School 2 for 1 Offer" and that you would like the second month rebated.

A NicheBOT Member Support technician will be rebate the full amount of the second payment.

NOTE:  You can only take this 2 for 1 offer once so make sure to pick the real offer you want to take advantage of.  ;o)

2.  Quarterly or Higher 2 for 1 Account

Get a quarterly account or higher and get double the premium credits.

Grab a NicheBOT Quarterly Billed account or longer and you’ll receive double the Premium Credits that are use for the Deep Digging tools.

You’ll also get extra time added onto your account as follows:

Quarterly Account:  2 Additional Months
Semi-Annual Account: 3 Additional Months
Annual Account:  4 Additional Months

After your account bills, just contact NicheBOT Member Support and they’ll add double the premium credits and
additional time on your account whenever you wish".

Sounds good Jim!

If you are interested in getting one of the 2 for 1 offers listed above, sign up for your Nichebot account here:

The 0ffer runs from September 22-29.  Unfortunately, I missed this last week since the special started on Monday, and that means the offer runs out this coming Monday, so if you are interested, you need to hurry.

2. Thumbs up for Feedburner
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

If you haven’t heard of Feed Burner, you should take a look.

Feed Burner

It’s a fr.ee service (now owned by Google) that can help increase the readership of your site (and bring back repeat visitors).

Basically, Feedburner gives you the tools to add a subscriber box on your site, and then whenever you publish new content to the site, your subscribers are notified.

You can see this in action on my Affiliate Minder site. Go to the site and click a link to any article.  You’ll see a subscription box in the top right margin that says "eNews & Updates".  If you fill in your email address and click "Go", you’ll be notified every time I post a new tutorial on that site.

Go along to the Feedburner site, and sign up for your own account.  You could have a subscription box on your site in a few minutes, and if you run a blog, I show you in this week’s WordPress Tutorial how to do it.

3. WordPress Tutorial – XIV
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

Last week we looked at adding video to your posts.

This week I want to show you how easy it is to add a Feedburner subscription box to your site.

You can view this tutorial on the Affiliate Minder website, as well as any tutorials you may have missed.

When you get there, click the link on the right to "Wordpress Tutorials".

4. Future of Niche Blueprints
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

I have been creating Niche Blueprints for a few years now, and a number of people have bought almost every one since they first started.  I guess that means they are profitable for those people ;O)

To reward the repeat customers, I have added a forum to discuss blueprints, find link partners etc, and made the blueprints a little cheaper.  If can find the details here:

5. How many top 10 pages validate?
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

In the last few weeks we have looked at a variety of factors often associated with good search engine rankings.  So far we have looked at page length, age & Google sitemap.  We have done this for the following three phrases:

RGP contact lens
bbq plans
heart rate monitor

Today, I want to look at another factor that is often mentioned in SEO guides – whether the web page HTML validates correctly using a service like validator.w3.org.

I have always advised people that 100% validation is not essential, and that the most important thing is that your content is spiderable, and a good quality.  However, the proof of the pudding as they say, it in the eating, so let’s test the top 10 pages for each of these phrases.

For this test, I am using some software called "CSE HTML Validator Pr v8.04", which I bought a few years back to help me test my own pages.

I didn’t see much point in averaging the errors, since they were so diverse depending on web site (and also, some pages had so many errors the software stopped counting), so I have included the number of errors on each of the top 10 pages for each term.

RGP Contact Lens
#1 – 0 errors, 1 warnings
#2 – 1 errors, 4 warnings
#3 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#4 – 6 errors, 7 warnings
#5 – 3 errors, 4 warnings
#6 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#7 – 2 errors, 12 warnings
#8 – 0 errors, 1 warnings
#9 – 0 errors, 1 warnings
#10 – Terminated validation because too many errors.

bbq plans
#1 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#2 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#3 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#4 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#5 – 0 errors, 3 warnings
#6 – 1 errors, 10 warnings
#7 – 2 errors, 20 warnings
#8 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#9 – Terminated validation because too many errors.
#10 – 1 errors, 13 warnings

I don’t see much point in doing this for the last phrase.  It is quite apparent from these results that correctly validating HTML is not as important as some experts would have us believe.  That’s not to say you should be sloppy with your code.  You should always strive to make your site the very best it can be in every way, but don’t pull your hair out if you try to validate your code and find the odd error.

6. Top 10 rankings in less than an hour?
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

.. without using social media sites?
.. in the credit card industry?
.. impossible?

I got an email from someone a few weeks ago saying that he was doing just that using my KRA Pro tool.

I was obviously impressed and asked him for more details.  He created a video.  I was so impressed, I used it on the sales page for KRA Pro.

You can watch the video here:

    Hi, Andy –

I would be interested in Niche Bot videos

    Thanks,
    Brian

I’d like to see the Nichbot tutorial as well. It’s a bit over whelming as to the number of video tutorials available from NB and KRA pro. If you could tailor one as a comprensive use of NB in conjunction with KRA pro, that would be helpful to me.
