1. A Shock in store at PPC Classroom
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

I am sure that you have been inundated with promos for Anik & Amit’s PPC Classroom.  They are about to launch version 2 tomorrow and I have been told of a real shock in store for those who have signed up on the notification list.

Who are these guys?

I first met Anik a few years ago when he opened the excellent Affiliate Classroom.  Since then he has impressed me a lot as I have followed his career online with interest.  There aren’t that many marketers today who I trust, but Anik is certainly one of them.

I must admit that Amit is new to me, but when someone goes from 20k in debt, to making 3.5 million a year, you know there is a lot you can learn from the guy.  Those who have listened to Amit have been offering testimonial after testimonial for the original PPC Classroom which launched last October.

There’s Josh who was making $50 a day when he joined and within 2.5 months he was up to $1000 a day profit!

What about Jim who did not have a clue how to run a PPC campaign when he joined, but made around $4000 in three weeks after joining, or Llona who was a total newbie to Internet Marketing, yet is now making over a $100 a day.

One testimonial I like is from Judah who was used to losing money with PPC, but followed the course and made a staggering $5545 in just one day.

Now I am sure that we have all been convinced to buy something because the sales letter is good, or the testimonials have hit a nerve, so what makes the PPC Classroom different?

Amit recently released a report that’s called "Join the Super Affiliate Ranks".  This report shows you the 5 biggest mistakes that marketers make, and the marketers who make them end up being the 98% of affiliates who fail online.

The report really is an excellent read, and I recommend you all get a copy if you have not done so already.  Amit has created the report and exposed these mistakes so that you can see for yourself that the PPC Classroom "is not the same old tired, out-of-date affiliate strategies that are nicely packaged in order to make a quick profit off
an unsuspecting public".

The report is excellent, but the PPC Classroom that it promotes (and is opening its doors tomorrow for a brief time) is setup to teach students the exact strategies, insights and techniques, in a "paint by numbers" approach, that Amit used to build his 7 figure affiliate business.

The mistake Amit talks about starting on page 13 will be familiar to many newbies in PPC advertising.  What I love about this report is that Amit explains the mistake, and then tells you how to fix it IN THE REPORT.  You don’t have to sign up for PPC Classroom to find out how to avoid these mistakes, the information is all there fr.ee of charge in the report.

If you have not downloaded this report yet, you really should.  I have only scratched the surface on the quality info inside.  You can download it here:

PPC Classroom

Be aware that the report is a little old now.  Towards the end, Amit talks about a Webinar they intend to run on the 19th February.  The webinar followed on from the report and offered a huge amount of additional quality information.  Obviously you have missed that date, but you can listen to the webinar here:

PPC Classroom Webinar

Now, as I mentioned in the title of this section, from what I have heard, there will be a huge shock in store for those who have signed up to receive the report.  If what I heard is true, I can guarantee that you will want to be on that list.  If you have been sitting on the fence during this pre-launch, get off and sign up now.  You wont be disappointed:

2. WordPress Tutorial
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

It’s been a while since I wrote a WordPress tutorial for this newsletter, so I thought I’d do one now.

The tutorial is about WordPress tags, and why abusing them could cause you problems in the search engines.

I have posted the tutorial up on:

http://affiliate-minder.com

Just click the menu link top right to WordPress Tutorials, and you’ll find the tutorial in that section entitled "Wordpress Tags – uses and abuses".

3. Feedback on Themeing
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

I had an email from one of my WordPress for Affiliate Sites coaching program students.  I thought it would be nice to share since it provides some feedback into the themeing techniques I have been teaching in this newsletter for a long time.

"Hi Andy

I just wanted to share some feedback with you, The article I did that I mentioned below is now on the second page of Google but more importantly Google analytics tells me it has been found by 36 other phrases from that one article

This proves that themeing the page casts a wider net, and that you will get traffic from searches that you never you thought of its still very early days on my learning curve and some of the terms were just 1 or 2 searches, but I knew this before i written the article, I just wanted to see it working and its thanks to you that i have learned this and I just wanted to say thanks Andy

regards

Ken"

If you are new to all of this, and want to read about themeing and see the evidence in some of the reports I have written on the subject, have a look at this resource page I have created:

http://keywordresearchlab.com/krapro/themecourse

If I was to recommend just one of the resources on that page which you should read, it would be the Gestational Diabetes report.

4. A Nice Fr.ee Keyword Tool
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

This is a tip from one of my software customers.  It really is a very cool keyword tool, so I have reprinted what Stan said:

"Good to get your brain in gear, find out what’s hot and what’s not…

Go on over to:

http://www.google.com/sktool/

.. and at the bottom of the page click on the link  "Or see top keywords across all categories"

Go ahead and click on one of the categories and you get top searches in that cat..

Click the magnifying glass next to a word and it takes you over to Google trends.

Or type one of the words into the search box above and dig down into that word

Stan"

Thanks Stan for that.

5. Successful Affiliate marketing without PPC?
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

I got an email the other day from someone who asked me whether it was possible to succeed at affiliate marketing WIHTOUT getting into the PPC game.

Of course you can.

At the time of writing this, I have not done any PPC for my sites for a few years.  By following the themeing advice in previous newsletters (and reading those reports I mentioned in part 3 of this newsletter), you will be well on your way to generating lots of fr.ee traffic from the search engines.

I have uploaded a screenshot from one of my Google Analytics accounts.  It shows 11 sites, and the percentage change in traffic over the last month:

http://ezseonews.com/images/google_analytics_traffic.gif

All of this traffic is being generated from organic search results only (the one site that shows NA is a new one so no results are available for it yet).

Looking at the percentage change for your sites like this can be a good way to help you decide which site needs your immediate attention for new content ;O)

Well, that’s it for this issue.  If you want to read the recent issues of this newsletter, you can read them online at my
