Hi Again

Happy New Year!

I hope that you had a great festive season (whether you celebrate Christmas or not), and that you are raring to go with your online business.  I have taken a little time off in the last couple of weeks to spend this time with my family and am starting back at work tomorrow, so this newsletter is a little short.  However, there are a couple of things I wanted to tell you about, so let’s get on with it..

– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
1. LSI, Balti Curry & this Newsletter
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

In the last newsletter I showed you a video with yet more evidence on the importance of themeing your web content.  If you missed that video, I highly recommend you go back to issue 271 and watch it – it’s very important to your success in the search engines.

To compliment the video, I gave you an example of an article written on the topic of “Favourite Balti Curry Recipes”.  I used my Web Content Studio software to pull out a set of theme words for the article that Google would want to see on the page, and printed them in the newsletter.

This morning, I had a thought.

If themeing was so important to the successful ranking of a page, my newsletter should be ranked somewhere in Google for the term “Favourite Balti Curry Recipes”.  I wouldn’t expect it to rank too highly because that was only a small section of the newsletter and the topic of the entire newsletter “content” was mixed.

I checked this morning, and here in Spain at least, newsletter 271 was ranking at #25, though Market Samurai (which will be querying a different data centre to my computer) reports the page to rank at #11 for that term.

One of the things I have always stressed about themeing is that when themeing is done properly, your page should rank for a wide range of topic related search phrases.

To test that idea, I used Market Samurai to check a few more balti recipe related phrases to see if I could find more that my newsletter ranked for.  I only looked at the top 100 Google results.  I took a screenshot:

baltis

I have included Yahoo & Bing in this, just to show you that themeing is important in these engines as well.  The “+” in some of the Yahoo listings simply mean the page is indexed but not ranking in the top 100.

Interesting isn’t it how a web page that is about online marketing could rank in the top 100 for curry related phrases?  This is the power of themeing!

Incidentally, the rank checker in Market Samurai is only one of a few very powerful features. If you would like to learn more about Market Samurai, I have created some tutorials (more to come in the New Year) showing things like the Market Samurai SEO Competition module, Rank Checker, Doing Niche research with Market Samurai etc.

2. Ignore Google and don’t worry about SEO or keywords
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

I got an email from Dave Tropeano last week.  Dave is an old friend but I had kind of lost touch.  He recommended I take a look at a product called Nano Bloggers by a guy called Dr. Peter Spaepen.  (By the way, you should have a look at his sales page as I think its an excellent lesson in drawing in the visitor and we can all pick up a few tips by studying it).

To be honest, I hate distractions and I had already prepared my “2010 Mind Map” where I lay out my plan for the year ahead.  I really didn’t have any intention of buying a new “system”, my year was sorted thanks.

However, as I read Peter’s sales letter, I got to a bit about ignoring Google.  That got me interested.  He then went on to say that you shouldn’t worry about SEO either, or PPC or JV partners.

I got the course.

In it, he even tells you not to worry about keywords.

OK; no Google, no SEO, not even keywords!  Initially I wondered what this guy was on, but as I read the course a dozen or more light bulbs went off in my head.

This course is refreshing.  It’s exciting, and it contains a number of lessons that can be applied to any website, not just “nanoblogs”.

I am going to be building my first nanoblog in the next week or so, following Peter’s methods to a T, so I’ll let you know how it goes.

Go read his excellent sales letter if you want to learn more about Nano blogging.

3. Web Content Studio Release Date
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –

Monday 11th January 2010.

I don’t have a specific time for the release.  I will release it when I get up, and take down the sales page the following day, roughly 24 hours later.  That means its available ALL DAY.  Wherever you are in the world, just come over to the Web Content Studio site on the 11th, and it’ll be available.  I will send out at least one alert via this newsletter when its up and running.

NOTE: This is a provisional date for the release barring any last minute hitches (I haven’t finished documentation, sales page etc yet!).  If I have to delay the release, I’ll let you know next weekend.

If you have only recently joined this newsletter, you can see an overview of what Web Content Studio does over on the Web Content Studio site.  Just wait for the video to load on the homepage.

As I have told you before, my plan for the release is simple.

Web Content Studio (WCS) will only be released for 24 hours initially, and only to readers of this newsletter.

I will eventually release it officially and while I haven’t settled on a final price (I will wait for feedback from those who buy it on the 11th January), it will probably be $167 – $197.

However, during those 24 hours, WCS will cost you just $97.

Well, that’s it for this issue.  If you want to ask a question or have a comment about anything in this newsletter, please leave a comment at the end of this newsletter.

Have a great week!

Happy 2010 to you Andy and I hope your last few weeks were enjoyable, refreshing and relaxing..

Thank you for the first newsletter of the year and I will anxiously be waiting to hear your progress with nanobloggers.

I like the sales page too (so nice to see something so simple without all the flash and hype), I respect his noble cause towards the animals and it really sounds intriguing.

However, I do wish (and without going into any lengthy sales letters which he says he even loathes), but I was hoping for just a weeeeee bit more info regarding what he offers, as I found the description somewhat vague.

For example, what is the outsourcing blueprint about, why 2 weeks and 4 weeks to await certain segments, what does the ‘custom file’ consist of?, plus having to pay in part for a ‘case study’???, etc.

So it has piqued my curiosity, but would love just a few more specifics.

Thanks again Andy and hope 2010 brings you continued success and happiness.

    Mark

I read the nanobloggers guy’s sales letter and had no more idea at the end of it what he was talking about than at the beginning. I have no idea what he might be talking about. Even if it’s interesting, the sales letter’s lack of concrete information made me feel about a million miles from parting with a dollar. I heard more about his dog shelter than what he actually does and what his course teaches.

If you have something to say about it as you use it, Andy, or to get us oriented, I’d be interested in hearing it. But as for now, his system seems unidentifiable in any respect except that it has to do with blogs and … shucking some conventional SEO ideas, though I’m not sure how or why. Certainly not to the point of throwing money around.

  3. Maurice says:

    Hi Andy

as a long time subscriber and owner of all your products and courses I’m a little confused as to where this ‘tool’ fits in with the likes of KRA Pro (which is great by the way) and Fat Content Creator.

As I own both of these, what benefits does this new tool offer (if any)over what I’ve already got?

    Thanks

    • Andy says:

Maurice, if you dont see a need for something, don’t buy it. THat goes for any tool or product. If you own KRA Pro and FCC, then you might decide you have enough. You will need to wait until the sales letter is up to see what this new tool adds, and whether that is enough for you to need the product.

  4. Jack says:

    Hi Andy,

Happy New Year to you and your family.

And what a nice way to begin the New Year with a program that shows so much promise.

    My anticipation builds…

  5. Luke says:

    Andy

For calculating theming percentages, does Web Content Studio use the same algorithm as Fat Content Creator? (I notice that FCC returns far fewer theme words).

    thanks,
    Luke

  6. Charles says:

Thanks for the interesting newsletter. I almost fell off my chair when I read that you would be putting up your first Nanoblog. You continue to impress me with your “coolness”. I say that as Nanoblogging is pretty much the antithesis of what you teach. As someone who recently purchased and completed your “Creating Fat Content Course”, and who is also a Nanoblogger I state that with confidence. Welcome to the fold of Nanobloggers.

I purchased the Nanoblog course in December and it is a profitable system. Already making good money. It doesn’t take long as you are working independent of the search engines and themed pages and content. You can create a new Nanoblog in 4 to 5 hours, once you fully understand the system and if you work it without changing ANYTHING you will make money. The system is not “Rocket Surgery”. Not complicated but it is not internet marketing as you know it. You do have to be able to “think independently” it is NOT a step by step fill in the number systems. That is all I am saying. Buy Peter’s course if you want to know more.

That being said, I am going full force this year with Dr. Andy Williams products, I will buy KRA Pro and Web Content Studio. The stuff you find and learn here I believe will be around in 10 years. I am not sure I can say that about Nanoblogging.

If you want a taste of what this is all about you can try Goobert http://www.gogoobert.com/ from Michael Campbell. It uses some of the same ideas but is half the price.

    • Andy says:

      Hi Charles
My main goal in Internet Marketing is to create websites that add value. WHile Nanoblogging ignores SEO, Google, etc, the way I see it, the sites you build certainly add value. In that respect they fit nicely with my ideas.

      • Charles says:

        Hi Dr. Andy,
In retrospect, I agree with you completely. Sometimes I get all caught up in the technique and skills and forget what I am really trying to do. Connect with the buyer, help in any way I can and hopefully add value to the whole process. If I do that well and consistently the money will be there. Nanoblogging brings all of the benefits mentioned. Thanks for reminding me.

  7. Owen says:

Web Content Studio is definitely something I will require. What I need to know id there is a manual or video on how to use it properly and get the best out of it? Some software that comes out does not really have a clear instructions of how to use it, especially for someone like me.

    • Andy says:

I am planning both, but, neither is done yet, so there may not be both at the time of the 24 hour release. I do also intend a forum but again, whether this is ready for the 24 hour release is another question I cannot answer yet.

  8. Andy,
I’m anxious to hear what you think of the Nanoblogging course. I read about it on another site and thought it sounded very interesting, but am not really ready to throw down another chunk of cash for another course.

His sales letter is so different. As I went through it, I kept thinking, “Why do I keep clicking on this link to go to the next page? Why didn’t he just keep it all on one page?”

But the mystery behind multiple pages was so intriguing and different, I couldn’t resist. I had to keep clicking.

Anyway, I’ll be waiting to hear your thoughts on the course. Feliz ano nuevo!

    • Andy says:

      Hi Susan
Yes, I like the multi-page approach too. One long sales letter looks too daunting to read and most people just scroll to the bottom to find out the price without reading the pre-sell message. This way they have to at least go through each page to get to the price.

  9. Joe Watson says:

    Andy

One of the things that worries me in his sales letter is that he doesn’t indicate whether his students used his method from scratch or whether they already had their own blogs and traffic. particularly the successful students IE; what was their level of experience? Was it the inexperienced students who failed?

It doesn’t appear to be a step by step procedure, in which case I think there will be a few holes that need filling in for the less experienced.

Is there enough ‘how to’ in his course?

    Joe

  10. Darrel says:

Yes, I am curious about nanoblogging but the sales letter left me cold.

  11. Joanna says:

    Hi Andy

A question re WCS. Does it have the facility to scan your article for keywords against those found in the top 10 pages in Google? The reason I ask is I would rather write an article first(the writing would flow more easily and unconstrained)and then run a keyword check on it, rather than construct an article based on a predefined set of top keywords.

    Happy New Year.
    Joanna

    • Andy says:

WCS can scan your article for the keywords and phrases you have chosen. If you use the spider, then you will have chosen them from the top 10 of Google. Whether you write the article first and then collect keywords, or collect keywords first is irrelevant.

  12. Marc says:

Will WCS be licensed per user or per computer? I do most of my work from home, but like to be able to do some of it during downtime at work sometimes, so that would mean only one user, but installing it on more than one computer.

    • Andy says:

It’ll be the same as all my software. You can install it on any of your own computers for your own personal use, as long as it is only used by yourself, and as long as you do not use it on more than one computer at a time.

      • Marc says:

K thanks Andy. Will buy and looking forward to exploring the software in full after work tonight.

  13. Arindam says:

After reading all inspiring emails & faith on Dr . Andy , purchased WCS & nanobloggers both just now.

I started internet marketing after reading your newsletter in’06 & today I am earning 4 figures + with handful of CB products. Good enough for a retired old man.

I will publish my progress using both these two products for a single CB product with gravity well over 200

  14. Marc says:

Need some help here Andy. There’s no page I can get to for WCS, forum or otherwise, that lets me get to support or anything else. Everything rejects me. Posting here wasn’t my first resort.

    • Andy says:

      Hi Marc
Sorry you have had problems. I have sent you an email and also your software download login details.

      • Marc says:

Just a note for anyone reading: I eventually figured out what was going wrong on all counts, and WCS is working fine for me now. I messed up getting into Andy’s forums because I thought I had to register, when actually I didn’t. Your username and password sent when you buy WCS will get you in. I also had a problem with using WCS, but that turns out to be my fault too, more or less. I figured both things out by myself eventually. However, Andy was very quick to send me a support query asking to help. Thanks Andy!
