In this issue:
1. Google Banned Him
Hi Again
It’s a short newsletter today simply because the message is short.? I know a guy how was making an absolute fortune with Google Adwords, but woke up one day last December to find Google had banned him.? What a great Christmas present!!? Well as it turned out, things like this actually act to spur on some people.
Since that happened, he has made over $500k? WITHOUT Google, and I have a video that shows some of the details.
Let’s get on.
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
1. Google Banned Him
– — – — – — – — – — – — – — – — –
While I have dabbled in a lot of online techniques, Google Adwords is not something that I ever stuck with.? There are a number of reasons that I don’t use Google Adwords in my online business today.
1. Cost per click is often scary
2. Unless you know what you are doing, you can end up losing a lot.
3. Landing pages.? What a pain setting them up.
4. Ads getting deactivated.
5. Google slaps.
.. the list goes on.
Having said that, I do know some people who use PPC as the main source of their traffic, but not all of these people have had happy endings at the hands of Google.
One guy I know is called Christian.? He has been nicknamed the PPC Ninja, and was making a fortune using Google Adwords as a main source of traffic.? Then in December 2009, he woke up to find that Google had booted him out of the program.
Bang.
Just like that, his business was wiped out.
Now I don’t know about you, but if that happened to me, it would be pretty difficult to get myself up of the floor, dust myself off, and start all over again.
However, Christian did just that.? Not only did he start again, but he did it without Google and within months, won a Super Affiliate Contest where they flew him to Costa Rica…
In the last 5 months, he has made more than $500,000 online without any help from Google.? He now concentrates on “Secret” traffic sources….
Christian is about to release a course showing you how he did this, and from what I am hearing from friends I know that got early access to the course, the results are looking VERY promising.
I personally bought the course a few days ago (remember its not officially released yet) because I knew that every Tom, Dick and Harry was going to be slamming their lists with this product once word got out, and I wanted to give you a true evaluation as someone who has actually bought and used the course.?? I have now been through the full course, but while I am very excited about it, there are some things I think you should know…
Firstly, its not really about PPC marketing.? The course focuses on one particular secret traffic source (the course covers other traffic sources and even shows you how to find new ones) and it uses CPM not PPC.? That means you pay per 1000 impressions of your ads, and the campaigns in the course typically cost something like $0.40 per 1000 impressions, although you could go down to $0.15.? That means your advert will show 1000 times from as little as 15 cents!
One of the great things about the secret traffic source is the targeting of your ads.? You create your ads (using the help and advice given in the course) and then only allow that ad to be seen by the demographics you choose.? Want the ad shown to 50+ men looking for love?? No problem…? How about 18-22 year old smokers?? Easy!? The targeting capabilities of this secret traffic source is truly amazing, meaning your ads are shown to the target audience you want.? Imagine selling acne products and paying just 20 cents for your acne product ad to be shown 1000 times to 18-24 year old boys (or any other group of people you think might be suffering from acne).?? This targeting can only be good for conversions.
OK, the second thing I think you need to know is that you will need to sign up with CPA networks.? These are networks (much like affiliate networks CJ or Shareasale), except their merchants pay per action, not pay per sale.
e.g. a merchant might pay you $4 for everyone you send that fills in a form.
Get the idea?
OK, so why am telling you this?
Well, CPA networks are notoriously difficult to get into unless you are a big spending Adwords advertiser.? However, Christian has videos on exactly how to fill in the applications, and what to say to get these networks to accept you.? He even tells you to use his name (and the course name) as a referral to help you get into these networks as he has talked with all of these networks, and they know his system works well.
I have applied for these networks myself but am still waiting for approval.? The process takes several days, but if I can get in (as a non-Adwords user), anyone can.
This approval process is the only thing stopping me from running my own campaigns right now, because I can tell you, I am very very excited about the techniques in this course.
The good thing about this course is that you can actually use this system to promote just about anything.? I have seen Clickbank products being advertised on the “Secret Traffic Source”, so don’t just think about promoting CPA offers.? You can promote anything.
Even better news is the fact that there is no Google, no landing pages, no SEO, etc.? In fact, you don’t even need to own your own website if you don’t want to since these traffic sources allow direct linking to affiliate products, and love affiliate marketers.
I highly recommend that you get over to Christian’s site and watch his video.? It shows how he made over $500k in 5 months after being banned by Google.
I am hoping that by the time the course is released (May 25th I beleive) I’ll have been approved by the CPA networks and can share with your my own results.
I really am hoping that Christian caps the number of sales on this product.? I know he did that with his last product (PPC Ninja), and it would certainly make sense to do so for this one.
If you have any questions about this course, please post them below as a comment and I will do my best to answer your questions, otherwise go over to Christian’s site and watch this amazing video:
Well, that’s it for this issue.? If you want to ask a question or have a comment about anything in this newsletter, please leave a comment at the end of this newsletter.

How much did you have to pay?
Hi Andy
I’ve never been able to work out why someone who has made a fortune with some idea or other then goes on to sell their secrets to the masses. It just feels a little odd I have to say. Surely if it was that good, the best thing to do would be to keep Mum about it and just continue to rinse, repeat, and rinse and repeat, over and over until you drop?
In the bricks and mortar business world it’s called being shrewd. In the virtual world, it called helping out your fellow online marketer (as if they are owed), and many even say things like, ‘You can’t keep this thing unless you give it away’. Good karma is another!
So when these guys stop what they’re doing to put a product together in order to sell their secrets to the masses, they not only open the floodgates to whatever it is that they have so successfully created for themselves, but if their earnings are to be believed, then ‘selling out’ in the short term doesn’t generate anywhere near as much income as the method(s) itself would do in the long term, thus making it suspicious to say the least.
Sorry to sound sceptical, but of all the presentations I’ve seen over the years, with screen shots of bank accounts, gurus in fast cars, or standing next to stately mansions they’ve bought with their ‘Google AdSense Revenues’, I just don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone come back who bought into whatever it was at the time and shared their ‘Wow! Report’ with their fellow netentrepreneurs!
What usually happens is that the product ‘Previous’ gets lost in the hype of the product ‘Now’ and so quickly gets forgotten and vanishes in the virtual mist forever!
I may well be wrong of course, but 2010 seems to be going down the route of 2005 when there was one wonder product, service, or secret formula after another. And as well hyped and as well presented as they were back then, I can no longer remember the name of any of them. Maybe that’s because they no longer exist and those folks that lost a bag of money and heaps of time buying into them were/are too embarrassed to admit their naivety.
Once again, sorry to sound cynical, but as someone who’s been online full time for about 6 years, I don’t personally know anyone making a mint by running a purely online business. I know of heaps of people who say they do, but I don’t actually know anyone personally that does, hence the scepticism.
It’s been my experience that those who claim to make the most money online are those who teach others how to make money online with their products or services, therefore giving the impression that the money’s not in the doing but in the training.

Hello Andy,
I am fairly good with SEO, but I drifted away into PPC a year ago. I spent that year getting a universty’s worth of learning about it. Eventually, I wound up in the heart of the dragon with Media Buys.
I know some guys make a killing with media buys, but, I was a total flopola. The best I could do was earning 9 bucks back for every 10 I spent….which, by industry standards wasn’t too bad.
Fact is, that driven by ego, you can lose your money quicker than you could ever imagine with this technology. It’s bank balance dynamite, and the absolute cocaine of PPC type stuff. It’s much much friendlier than hateful Google, but trust me, far more seductive and treacherous. It’s like riding on the back of the tiger.
Unless you are able to divine the secret I never could, it takes money to make money in this racket. With ROI really close, you have to spend a lot to get back a little, *IF* everything goes right.
I believe it’s a tool you should have in your arsenal, to be used at the right time for the right product. I just was never able to put the right combinations together. Maybe you will, and make a boodle. If you do, my hat’s off to you and I hope you are a success.
Just take a tip from someone who tried it. Don’t let ego creep into your strategy. Know when to get out. And thus, I slunk back to draggy, slow old SEO to lick my wounds.
Norm
I was also banned by Google…Then it all mess up my business. I was hug upon trying to find new source of traffic. Face book ppv etc. Its amazing the Google banned have lifted the scale from my eyes “Google is not the only source of Traffic”
I believe the price will be $497. Look interesting – would love to hear from Andy his results.
I think the course will be open for just a few days so whether Andy will be accepted in a CPA network and have results by then remains to be seen
Hi Dr Andy
As you will know, the CPA Traffic Dojo Launches Monday, May 24th at NOON EST. I’m just wondering 4 days on from your newsletter whether you are still as enthusiastic about this now as you were back then?
Thanks in advance
Andii
I was really surprised this offer came from you Andy, it seems out of the norm of your usual recommendations.
I have viewed all the videos and it sounds quite enticing. However like the 2 comments above i am also skeptical. His message and his numbers don’t add up for me. He said he wants to limit his product so as not to affect his revenues, but balks at his mentors suggestion of selling just two hundred copies @ $1997 for approx $400,000. And instead is going with a price of $497. With 1800 people signed on his early bird list if all 1800 buy that equates to approx $900,000. He is also asking for jv partners on jv-notify pro, assuming all 1800 people like me were referred by an affiliate who i presume is getting at least a 50% commission, that equates to approx $450,000. So that’s an extra $50,000 to manage an extra 1600 people that potentially cuts into his profits.
Just doesn’t add up for me.
You know Dale, the strategies in this course are completely outside my confort range in terms of knowledge. I have learnt so much from this course, and I know most people will too. I would not expect the average person to make the same kind of returns that Christian has, but then I do know of someone (someone I trust 100%) using these exact strategies who is getting a 30% return on his money. If I could do that, I’d be very happy!
Yikes…
I’ve seen enough of these things over the years to realize there is a high probability this thing just won’t pan out. Too many red flags!
He uses the infamous Google ban to initiate fear. That tactic turned me off instantly.
No thanks…
I dont think the Google Ban issue is a ploy to initiate fear. Its something that really happened to a lot of affiliates using Adwords, and many of them turned to alternative traffic sources. Affiliate Marketers have to adapt, and this course teaches you how to work without Google, something that people actually want to do – no fear factor involved.
Okay folks, it’s now after midnight here in Thailand, and the doors have not long been open for this new training and support product.
Although the cost is not super high (specially if it brings results for those who work it), I am one of these people who have lost a lot of my money due to the global economic climate this past couple of years, and so even $500 has become a lot for me to lose these days, as all these costs add up.
However, I’ve been working online full time for the past 6 years and have been following Dr Andy almost since the start. What I’m trying to say, is that if he endorses a product or service, it’s always worth a consideration in my eyes.
Whereas many internet marketers promote products simply to earn a commission, i think that Dr Andy would only promote a product if he genuinely thought it worth the plug.
As i type this, I’m sitting on the fence, and it’s almost time for bed, i have time to sleep on it.
Can i afford the gamble? Or perhaps i should be asking myself, can i afford not to?
Watch this space!!!

Andii
the product does come with a money back guarantee. I cannot promise you will get the results with it that Christian does, because I have not been able to try out these strategies myself due to the approval delay. All I can say is that this is one product that does excite me. If it turns out the strategy does not work out, I will be asking for a refund as well.
Hi Andy and thanks for your updating these comments.
It’s now lunch time and I’m still undecided. Not because I’m afraid to take the odd risk, it’s just that usually my risks are more calculated and done with at least some knowledge of what I’m getting into.
What we have here is a way of doing business online that totally alien to me personally, and I guess the same could be said for many others that have watched the video presentations too. I have never dabbled with AdWords or other similar campaigns, although I almost did a few months back.
So anyway, as there IS a 30 day money-back guarantee, then perhaps the only thing to lose should it not work out is some time and commitment. I still have my other websites to take care of, and wouldn’t want to see them rot in cyberspace because I had no time to feed them during the learning of this course.
Btw, I was given a free AdWords voucher by Mr G early this year to the tune of ?70 UK. I thought it worth a try and guess what? My first ever campaign took so long to get authorised, that when it was eventually given the green light, the ‘Use By’ voucher date had expired and I would have had to use my own funds to run the campaign. I cancelled it promptly!
The reason I mention the above is because the 30 day money back guarantee got me thinking about the approval delay here, and if it takes too long to get, then it’s eating into that 30 day ‘make your mind up’ period.
Even with my scepticism , I would be lying if I said I had no interest (hence these ramblings), and by evening local time I will have stopped my winging and either bought the product, or I made a decision not to, and thus make no further mention of it.
Cheers
Andii
I read your review, Andy and all the comments about Traffic Dojo. Although, I do agree with every word Andii says, I’ve decided to give this a shot. I’ve always wanted to do CPA and also I take what Andy says on board.
So, I have just purchased and will start my education straight away. Thanks
Hi Dr Andy
Firstly, I’d just like to wish you and the family well. Going by your last newsletter, it seems as though you’ve had a rough time of it health wise, so get well soon one and all
Okay, so this is just an updated post regarding the Traffic Dojo course.
I have signed up and am still within the 30 day money back guarantee period. Here’s my personal assessment thus far.
Now when selling the course, Christian was selling himself. His 7 years hands on experience, his knowledge on how to reverse-engineer, and his promise of first class support to members on the course.
Upon entering the course, I don’t think I’ve seen a single post from Christian in the forums once ever. I could be wrong but if he is in the rooms, he’s certainly not dominant.
He handed us over to Greg who I believe has 6 months hands on experience trained directly by Christian. Now don’t get me wrong here, I’m not having a pop at Greg as the man certainly seems to know his stuff and he’s forever present in the forums representing the Traffic Dojo course with authority and persistence.
The only thing we seem to get from Christian (the founder), is a weekly recording of a Q&A session. Once again, nothing wrong with that as these are also most useful and ecucational, so you might be wondering why all the fuss?
We’ll, to quote from a promotional email from Christian:
“I want to work closely with customers. I am shutting the offer down to the public in 24 hours so I can focus on customers rather than a “sell out”.
He’s not there! And although Greg is great and probably does just a good a job at training as Christian would, it was Christian who was selling himself as the product, and once signed up we’re left with one poor bloke (Greg) looking after some 800 eager beavers all on his own.
So I’ve lost a bit of trust on the sales message even though representation is there for the service, albeit someone other than the founder.
Secondly, one of the biggest drawbacks according to the forum post is Network rejections. This is a headache that newbies could do well without when they arrive. Once again, if Christian had thought this through before setting up the course, he could have pre-prepared a working partnership between Traffic Dojo and its recommended networks, before and not after, the members had signed up.
Thirdly, it seems that one of the main reasons for Network rejection is the mysterious geographical location. No one seems to know which countries or regions are refused based on their location, or why. So once again, if the guys had done their homework on this and not assumed all their members would be from the USA and Canada, it might have saved folks from signing up from those countries or regions that are not going to get into the best networks no matter how many times they apply.
And lastly, I know this is internet marketing, and the name of the game is to build a member base, collect emails, and try to make commissions on other Guru projects, but as someone who’s given $500 just over a couple of weeks ago, I really didn’t expect to get promotional material in my inbox from the founder trying to push other peoples products/services quite so soon. I think I’ve had 2 to date, and to be honest, there’s enough to be learning as it is without buying into more ways to make money online.
Right at this moment in time, I feel that the intentions of both Greg and Christian are genuine and that they have a good idea in place. However, as a new member, I also feel that they have pushed it out too soon and not thoroughly thought things through.
Will I stay on? I’m not sure, I’m going to think about it over the weekend. But I do feel that there are a few areas that are a little misleading, even if they were not intended to be. The longer it takes faffing around trying to get onto networks, the sooner that 30 day money back guarantee period looms forward. It would be a shame to pay the $500 only to find out some 6 or 8 weeks later that the best Networks as recommended by Traffic Dojo are going to reject you for whatever reasons.
Andii
Hi Andii
I agree with you on Christian’s absence. I have seen him post on the forum, but most of the time its Greg. That is actually OK with me as I see Greg is the one who has been doing a lot of this stuff in the last 6 months, and he is very knowledgeable. As for the networks, I only got into Neverblue yesterday!!!!. I actually reapplied after getting rejected the first time. This time I mentioned the course, and they accepted me after a short chat. The fact I got into three out of three that I applied for is great for me as I have always been rejected from the CPA networks in the past. There is no doubt that buying this course got me a ticket into the networks. Having said that, I know you are in Thailand, and that is going to work against you purely by association I think. I think most people in the US/Canada and most of Europe should get in OK if they are on this course. I have spent today doing a little research on some offers, and tomorrow I should be running my first tests. While this course is closed, I wont be publishing results in my newsletter (remember the crap I took for even promoting this course??). However, you have my email address Andii, so please just ask me in about a week or so, and I’ll happily tell you my experiences with the CPM to CPA stuff.
Hi Doc and thanks for your response
I hope i didn’t come across too negative about Traffic Dojo, as i do have a genuine gut feeling that both Christian and Greg are top blokes.
But like all online ventures, i feel that a bit of constructive criticism from those who buy into these products or services should be posted in order for fellow internet marketers (or wannabes), make better informed decisions if considering a purchase.
Should the founders of whatever the product or service is ever get to see such comments from their consumers, they may also view them as helpful towards any future development, and not merely as an unfair negative analysis of their treasured creation.
I think you’re right about Thailand. Unfortunately, it has a reputation as being one of the credit card fraud capitals in Asia and has somewhat of an unofficial blacklisting when it comes to online dealings.
I would like to get into this kind of more aggressive type of marketing though, so it will be a shame if I’m shunned purely by my geographical location.
Thanks for the invite to contact you on this Dr Andy. I might just do that at some point as I sometimes feel a little isolated out here near the mountains. Most of my mates are either retired (over 65′s), or retired 40 something’s that don’t have to work thanks to inheritance or matured allowance etc. In other words, I’m not surrounded by like minded individuals whom I can bounce ideas off of..
Cheers for now
Andii
