This is just a quick reminder that Dr. Neil Shearing has released his Link Secrets course today. I reviewed a pre-release copy on Sunday in the newsletter, but have now had time to look at the final product.

The final version of the product is even better than the pre-release version Neil let me look at.
In addition to the eBook, Neil has included 5 videos explaining a number of important issues related to link building.
There is also a bonus audio (and PDF transcript) interview that Neil did with Louis Allport recently.
The main eBook is 20% bigger than the draft I saw, with a lot more information added to some areas of the book.
Just to remind you, Section 1 of the eBook is a great introduction to links, why they are important and how to do them properly. Section 2 covers sources of links, ie where you can get links from. Neil lists the categories of sources, like article submission, press releases etc, and has 15 categories in total, some that I hadn’t thought about. The final section is what Neil calls the "Step-by-step linkbuilding action steps". It’s Neil’s recommended way for building links into a new site. He gives you a 7 day detailed plan to follow, plus an instructions for weeks 2 and beyond.
I highly recommend this eBook. It is a fantastic resource for any webmaster who needs help with link building in as painless a way as possible.

Good news. I think many link building techniques are no secret but the key is to know which ones really work and which ones are just a waste of time.
I’m especially curious about the Step-by-step action steps. Most ebooks are missing a clear plan and don’t tell you what you should do.
