Want to add auto-updating affiliate links to your site?

This is just a quick heads up to warn you that the newsletter on Sunday (issue #247) is going to be one you wont want to miss.

Before you start thinking that I must be trying to sell you something, relax.

In Sunday’s newsletter, I am going to show you a great alternative to putting Adsense on your site!

Adsense has never been a big earner for me as I always prefer to put affiliate links on my sites.  However, for many people, Adsense offers an easy solution to monetizing pages.  Put it on, and forget about it….

Well what if I can show you how to add auto-updating affiliate links on any page(s) you want.  You can add affiliate links and forget about them and the best thing about this system is that the merchant will automatically update them for you?  Sounds good?

If you want a clue, go and look at my test site:

Also this Sunday I have an exclusive review for you.  Last week I told you that Neil Shearing was releasing a quality eBook on Link Building.

Link building is one of those SEO chores that we all hate, so Neil’s book will probably be a best-seller.

Well I have twisted Neil’s arm, and just finished downloading a draft copy of the product, so on Sunday I’ll be reviewing it for you.  The product wont even be available to buy on Sunday (you’ll have to wait a few more days for that), but I?ll have a discount code for you!

Neil has prepared a short introduction to link building with a great little report called 10 Linking Myths Shattered.  Download it now.

  1. Good to see a working example. Too often people write like “I have a site that does this and that but for obvious reasons I cannot show it to you”.
On equestion I have: As you are using the same selection from amazon on all pages, is it also possible to use more than one selection in case you want to populate different categories?

In my example all pages would have the same content from the feed. However, it is possible to use different feeds on different categories. You would need to use a PHP if statement. Maybe I’ll do that in a future tutorial?
