Newsletter Success Formula Review
August 30, 2009 by Andy
Every day, my mailbox is flooded with so-called newsletters.
It seems you cannot buy a product these days without automatically being added to a "newsletter" list.
I am sure you will have seen this. You buy something and get told that to receive updates for the product you need to sign up "using the subscription box below". I have even seen times where I have not been allowed to download the product until I have signed up (and verified my subscription).
What usually follows is a spamming campaign from the author of the product. I almost never get information on the updates for the product, but I certainly hear about all the new products being released. Sound familiar?
How can a "newsletter" that does nothing but pitch offers to you (sometimes several days a week) have a future? I can see high unsubscribe rates, and rapid turnover of unhappy subscribers. Is that how you build a successful newsletter?
How many times do you sign up for a newsletter, only to unsubscribe because the author of the newsletter only ever sends you sales pitches?
Quite often I’ll bet.
From the hundreds of newsletters I have signed up to over the years, there are only about 5 that I still subscribe to and actually read. Martin Avis writes one of those 5.
Martin’s newsletter is a little different from most, in that he regularly talks about his person life as well as marketing ideas. What you don’t get is pitch after pitch. This is how he has developed a personal relationship with many of his readers, why his newsletter is a success, and why his readers are ahppy to buy his recommendations.
Martin has been writing his newsletter since 2001 and has notched up over 1200 issues. Wouldn’t it be great if you could learn how to write a successful newsletter from a guy like Martin?
Well, I’m sure you have seen this one coming…..
Now you can.
Martin has created a video course on how to write a successful newsletter (but it is actually a lot more besides).
Martin has taken all of his knowledge on this subject and boiled it down into an excellent course that discusses the important stuff like attracting subscribers and turning them into readers.
Read that last bit again – "turning them into readers".
That’s right, just because you might have a list of subscribers does not mean that those subscribers read or even open your email.
The methods that Martin teaches will maximize opening rates, as well as build a relationship with the list. This relationship builds loyalty as well as turning readers into buyers.
But "I don’t know how to write!"
Martin believes that you don’t even need to know how to write properly to be successful. He’ll teach you his "prowse formula" for creating a newsletter that readers will actually look forward to receiving.
Martin will also teach you his "all-purpose template" that means you can write about any subject easily.
Unlike a lot of the marketers you come into contact with, Martin is not one to blow his own trumpet. He won’t promise to make you a millionaire, or riches without work. What Martin teaches here are skills that will benefit you a lifetime, not just in writing newsletters, but in writing anything.
Besides the mechanics of writing a quality, infomration packes newsletter, Martin covers important topics like:
* How to build your list (he lists 16 ways of list building).
* What newsletter / autoresponder services are available (including what to avoid).
* The types of subscribers you’ll get (and how they differ).
* The best days for sending out a newsletter.
* The biggest problem faced by newsletter writers (and its not getting or keeping readers subscribed to your newsletter).
* What tools to use to write your newsletter.
* How to keep readers interested (and involved).
* How much money you can expect to make with your list.
* How to "feed the horse salt before you lead it to water".
* How to become a trusted friend to your subscribers.
* Newsletter open rates (and why he doesn’t care too much about this metric).
* Writing articles even if you don’t think you can write.
* 12 common article types that you can use when writing articles or your newsletter.
* A breakdown of different types of article that you can use to almost guarantee a successful article.
* Using LSI in your writing.
* Easily creating your own product.
Martin is a master of engaging his readers as his newsletter subscribers will testify, and he’ll teach you how to do it with your list as well.
This course can be applied to any market. Whether you write a newsletter on Internet Marketing, pet goldfish or barbecuing tips, it does not matter. Martin’s formula will work for you. I highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to start (or kickstart) a newsletter.
Martin only released the course this week, so has a special offer at the moment. You can get $50 off the price if you type in the coupon code: saveme50
You should get this now before the coupon is removed.
