User-Generated Content

Growing an authority website into something really special takes a lot of hard work and effort.  How would you feel about handing over some of that workload to your visitors and/or subscribers?

Sounds great doesn’t it?

The biggest problem with this is making sure the quality is there.  I mean you certainly don’t want sub-standard content being published on your website.

What if there was a way you could get visitors to submit their content so you could go through the submissions and manually approve them?

I have been looking at two products that help achieve this goal.

The first one is a product created by one of my newsletter subscribers – Brian Maroevich.  Brian’s product is a short PDF explaining how to get this type of user-generated content to work on a niche site.  A bonus that comes with Brian’s course is a WordPress plugin that allows your visitors to submit their images with a description.

If you run a website where images are important, then this course & plugin will help.  Brian’s PDF actually talks about how to get other types of submissions as well, like articles.

I have recorded a short video demonstrating how this plugin works.

If you want to read more about Brian’s course, it’s available on the Warrior Forum here.

Another Great Plugin for User-Generated Content

Internet Marketing Legend, Michael Campbell has just released his own plugin that allows submissions from visitors.  This plugin is a lot more comprehensive than Brian’s and is setup to allow video, image and article submissions. I have set this one up on one of my own sites today and wanted to take you through a guided tour of how it works.

I’ve just visited the sales page for this plugin and until November 26th, there is a $20 discount.

  1. Andy,
    Wow!!!
Thanks for VIA curation. Can’t wait to try this out with John Robinson’s new adsense masters book. Because of my Clients status, I have so many offers for content, it is just pudding on the cake to get the video recipes and photo’s as that is what our site is about.
