I have been using Godaddy for around 3 years and in that time the support team have been second to none in resolving questions and minor problems until I started to use MYSQL.
Their assistance, although issues (only minor issues occurred) were resolved, knowledge was at some points vague and led to my own learning curve, after contacting Dr. Andy for advice.
However, I am continuing to use Godaddy for the time being and continuing to use MYSQL databases for my sites.
As Andy said in the comment above, their support has not always seemed clued in to the issues, but the price is excellent.
