  1. Hi Dr. Andy Williams. I bought your WordPress for Beginners 2018 and its working great for me as I delve into website construction. I’m on page 108: Comments. My question is about getting Comments to work properly. I use Safari and I see there is an extra step or plug-in I have to use to activate my Comments link or page. Do you have a guidance article for that issue?

    1. The web browser you use does not affect how WordPress works, so I am not really sure what you are referring to Mia. Maybe contact me via the contact form on this site with more details and a screenshot and I will help if I can.

The first problem I had (I have your 2018 book) was there was no “Advanced Settings” tab under the features tab in general settings after I installed the Yoast SEO plugin (pg 98). So everything that follows in the book on this topic I could not do. So I pulled up this video on your website and went through the google authorization process, but I am getting this message: We weren’t able to verify your property. Do you think this is because I have not moved the site to be public yet? Or does it relate to not having the advanced settings tab in Yoast? Sigh…help would be appreciated. (I am leaving this here because I don’t see another way to contact you.) THANK you.
